I love long tables, good wine, food made with care and the kind of evenings where people settle in, talk, laugh, pass plates around and stay longer than they planned.
After more than 20 years in hospitality, both front of house and in the kitchen , and now having hosted multiple pop-ups here in Utrecht, I know that some of the best experiences happen around food.
That is what I love sharing with guests!
Pop-ups are about creating an evening that feels a little more intimate, a little more personal and a lot more fun.
A room full of people, a menu built for the season, wine on the table and the freedom to make the whole night feel like an experience rather than simply a meal.
I care deeply about the food, of course. My cooking is seasonal, generous and full of flavour. I care just as much about the atmosphere around it: the pacing, the welcome, the energy in the room and the feeling that people can settle in and really enjoy themselves.
