The Story of Stef’s Table

I started in the kitchen when I was 13, washing dishes. From there, I worked my way through every part of hospitality like kitchens, floors, late nights, and full houses. I loved it all.

 

Hospitality isn’t just an industry to me; it’s a way of life.

But at home, food has always felt different. Cooking for my partner after a long day. Family meals that filled the room with love and laughter. Friends gathered around the table, long after the plates were cleared.

 

It become so clear how food was never really *just* about what’s on the plate... it was always more about connection.

Stef’s Table grew out of that. It’s my way of bringing the quality of restaurant food into the spaces where life really happens. With food that is honest, full of personality and doesn't make you miss a restaurant.

 

 Making restaurant-quality meals at home, on your table, is a great honour and I am so excited for you to try the recipes that bring that fun and laughter to the table.

Why I Cook the Way I Do

I cook to share. Whether it’s a quick, easy dish for a weeknight or a meal that simmers for hours, the joy is the same: bringing people together around food.

For me, cooking isn’t about choosing between “fancy” and “simple.” It’s about making both accessible. Some nights you want something fast and comforting. Other times, you want to start with raw ingredients, take your time, and watch something transform into a dish that feels like a celebration.

 

That’s the heart of Stef’s Table. My recipes and my cooking style are made to follow you. You don’t need to be a chef to bring them to life. You don’t even need to spend hours in the kitchen, unless you want to.

 

The food flows with the seasons, with your mood, with the people you’re sharing it with.

At my table, cooking is never about stress or perfection. It’s about the joy of creating something worth remembering, whether it takes 15 minutes or all afternoon.
